New Books:

For Review:

One More Promise (Bands on the Run, #2) by Samantha Chase
What The Valley Knows by Heather Christie
Hello Stranger (The Ravenels, #4) by Lisa Kleypas

Much thanks goes to Harper Collins, Sourcebooks/Inkslinger PR, and Film19!

Books Read this Week:

Your One & Only by Adrianne Finlay: Another 2018 Debut! I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it nearly as much as I expected. The premise was fantastic. Adrianne did such a fantastic job of developing the clones and their history, and I really enjoyed the takeaway message of the book. However, I didn't particularly love the ending (it was rushed) and I never felt an incredibly strong connection to the MCs. Look out for my review on Tuesday!

Lost Love (Cowboys & Angels, #1),  Love Profound (Cowboys & Angels, #2), Tempting Love (Cowboys & Angels, #3) by Kelly Elliott: Link to my reviews below!

The Calculus of Change by Jessie Hilb: This wasn't what I expected, and even though it's been a couple of days since I finished it, I still can't fully decide if I liked it or not.

Not That I Could Tell by Jessica Strawser: I started reading this at 10:30 pm on Friday night and ended up staying up until 2 am to finish it. I couldn't for the life of me put it down! Jessica presents a cast of interesting, strong young women all facing their own respective demons - parenthood, unrequited love, a failing marriage. There's also a mystery competent, which I enjoyed. Fans of Big Little Lies will definitely eat this one up!

Indecent by Corinne Sullivan: After Courtney Summers (one of my favorite YA authors ever!) raved about this book on Instagram, I knew I had to read it. It was an incredibly fast paced & emotionally charged read.

The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth: I never expected to love this one as much as I did. Yet another book about neighbors, secrets, and family; however, Sally puts a heart-stopping, crazy twist to it. The characters are what truly made the book, in my opinion. Gosh, I just wanted to hug them all - they went through so much.

New in my Reading/Blogging/Personal Life:

Who else can't believe January is over?! However, I'm beyond excited to be one step closer to spring - I NEED warm weather. I'm so tired of these below 0 days. I have a trip planned to Florida in March (West Palm Beach!!) and I can't wait! It's going to be GLORIOUS to be on the beach and in the sun. Plus it'll be my first vacation in like 5 years.

Other than that, it's been a relatively busy week. I feel like I've been go, go, go all week. I treated myself to pizza on Thursday night, which was nice. Sometimes the last thing I want do when I get home is cook. Starting in January I've had new insurance, which I've discovered this week may be a really good thing. Instead, of paying $75 a month for my medications, I'm now barely spending $15, which was such a wonderful surprise! I flew through several contemporary fiction books this week, and gosh, were they so good! BUT I've cried like a baby for my last three reads, which almost never happens. I think I'm getting weak lol

Anyhow, have a great week! For those of you in the US, are you watching the Super Bowl? I don't have television at my apartment, so I won't be able to watch the game (by the watch the game I mean the half time show and commercials lol), which is a slight bummer.
